D’Ondria Williams, Jena Garrett, Tammy Gleaton Simpo and John Brian Eleazer have been promoted at SCRA’s Institute for Solutions Generation. Williams is a senior program administrator; Garrett is a senior project analyst; Simpo is a senior analyst, and Eleazer is a principal strategic engineer.

National women’s apparel retailer Coldwater Creek has opened in Mount Pleasant Towne Center.

 

Sweet 185 Sugaring Studio, offering natural hair removal services for men and women, has

opened at 185-A St. Philip St. Danielle Correia is the founder and owner.

 

Talbot’s Petites will open mid-November in Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. This store will be located across from the new Coldwater Creek and adjacent to the recently opened J. Jill store on Belk Drive.

 

John and Kathleen Kelley have established the Charleston area’s first “mole mapping” clinic, called the Skin Topography Lab. The lab’s Mole Mapping System will help doctors, patients and the general public identify early signs of skin cancer.

 

David Kalik, former president of Charlestown Management Hotels Inc., formed a new hotel management and consulting practice called Kalik Hospitality LLC. The firm will focus on development and management of upscale hotels and inns, Web site and e-marketing and employee training to attain four diamond service standards.

Leading Edge Software Solutions has opened its doors in Summerville. Owned by Sandy Wilder, LESS seeks to provide affordable training to nonprofits on Blackbaud’s Raisers Edge and Financial Edge programs.

 

McCrady’s Restaurant has named fine-dining veteran Peter Lamb banquet manager.

Professional Service Industries Inc. promoted Keith Ingram to principal consultant for the construction materials testing service line. Ingram also is the branch manager of the company’s Charleston operations office. Ingram has been with the company since 2000.

 

Marie Arrant has joined the Charleston office of Kestrel Horizons LLC as manager of environmental forensics.

 

Matt Grayson has been named vice president of development for IBG Partners LLC. Grayson had previously worked as development manager for Northshore Town Center in Knoxville, Tenn.

 

Rick Meadows has joined Woolpert Inc. as project director for the planning and design group in Charleston. Meadows joined the firm with more than 30 years of land-planning experience.

 

Arcadis has hired Alan Lail to the Charleston Team. With more than 25 years of engineering experience, Lail will manage the buildings engineering department.

 

Jennie A. Parvatam and Charles P. Beam have joined Kennedy Ragsdale & Associates Inc. as project engineers and Wofford L. Stribling has joined as a designer in the Charleston Office. Parvatam most recently served as a senior project engineer for Weiman Consulting Inc. in Canada. Beam most recently served as the Richland County hydrologist.

 

Joyce Atkins, Lisa Berry, Dana Lee, Trish Streeter and Susan Dorsey have joined AEC Properties Real Estate. Previously, Atkins was a sales associate with Harbourtowne Real Estate, Berry was a sales associate with Century 21 Southern Homes, and Lee and Trish Streeter were sales associates with Weichert Realtors. Dorsey joined as a new sales

associate.

 

Ron Zenobi and Chris Dayton have joined Century 21 Properties Plus Inc. as real estate agents at the Metro North office in North Charleston. Before joining Century 21 Properties

Plus, Zenobi was a realtor with Prudential Carolinas Real Estate. Dayton began his real estate career in 2004 with Century 21 Southern Homes in Goose Creek.

 

The Charleston area division of Ryland Homes has hired Jennifer Spinner as a staff accountant. Spinner has seven years of experience in the financial industry.

Prudential Carolina Real Estate New Homes has introduced its new land development team: Brian Mahoney and Sunday Lempesis head up the group with team members Mike Carrigan, Nick Collins, Jim Tobias and Hammond Rauers.

 

The Southern Shores Real Estate Group LLC has hired real estate agent Peter Derry to their Charleston office. Previously, Derry worked in t golf and medical equipment sales.

Prudential Carolina Real Estate has hired Brenda Dispenza and Robin Evans to the Long Point Road office in Mount Pleasant; Cassie Baker Dulaney to the Broad Street office in downtown; Chery Antley to the Metro North office in Goose Creek and Ariel Shaw to the Orleans Road office in West Ashley.

 

The Beach Co. has hired Abby Bunkley to Beach Commercial, the commercial brokerage division of the company. Bunkley will serve as a junior commercial broker specializing in downtown retail.

 

Douglas Lougee has joined First Citizens as vice president and group credit administrator for its Eastern Division. Lougee has more than 24 years in the banking industry.

 

Ben Brazell has joined First Reliance Bank as the Charleston market president. Brazell will grow the bank’s market share and locations, while acquiring and developing business and personal banking relationships.

 

RBC Centura Bank promoted Steve Jones as market president of the Carolinas and Virginia. Jones was market president for Eastern North Carolina and Virginia.

 

Jimmy Hyams has been promoted to branch executive at Southcoast Community Bank’s Sam Rittenberg Boulevard location. Hyams joined Southcoast Community Bank as a business development officer.
