Blackbaud gives more than 6,500 toys to Toys for Tots
U.S. Marines Gunnery Sgt. Michael Kirby (left) presents Marc Chardon, Blackbauds chief executive officer, an award for a record-setting donation of 6,542 toys. Since 2001, Blackbaud employees have contributed more than 25,000 toys to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program, benefiting children in the Lowcountry.
Charleston Habitat dinner raises $30,000

Roper invests in Education Foundation
Roper St. Francis Healthcare invested $25,000 in The Education Foundation, an initiative of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, to further its work in developing health care career clusters in area schools, specifically Wando and West Ashley high schools. Anheuser-Busch teams up with Coastal Conservation League
The Coastal Conservation League has joined Anheuser-Busch in the beverage companys Keep it Natural Carolinas campaign, a public-private initiative to support conservation and restoration efforts in North and South Carolina. To date, the Keep it Natural program has supported the protection of more than 110,000 acres of wildlife habitat, working landscapes and recreation areas in the Carolinas.
