Winners of the bEYEcycle photography competition, featuring works from some 30 photographers, have been announced. Winning works were chosen based on aesthetic quality, composition and the artists depiction of the relationship between biking and Charleston. The first-place black-and-white photo is by Jeff Perry and features a cyclist stopped in Cannon Park. The second-place photo, by Ryan OReilly, depicts wheels and water. The third-place winner, Melissa Bauld, photographed cyclists on the steps of the Customs House. An honorable mention went to Josh Kozono. OReilly also took home the Peoples Choice Award.
Attorney Edward Mullins Jr., senior partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, has been elected to the board of directors of the National Center for State Courts. Mullins specializes in the areas of product liability and business and general litigation.
