The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors congratulated Kathy Durham, president of Raven Mortgage Bankers, as its 2005 Affiliate of the Year for her dedication and involvement with the association, the real estate industry and the community.

DPS Development Co. LLC took home nine ADDY awards at the Charleston Advertising Federation of Americas 2006 ADDY award competition. The award-winning pieces were produced by the companys in-house design team, led by Sharon Bruner and Wade Harris. Gold ADDYs were awarded for two pieces: Snake River Sporting Clubs Member-Prospect Invitation and Snake River Sporting Club Sales Kit. Silver ADDYs were awarded for: The Greenbrier Sporting Club Brochure, Snake River Sporting Club Brochure, Turks & Caicos Sporting Club Canadian Direct Mail and the DPS Development Co. Holiday Party Invitation. Three bronze awards went to: Turks & Caicos Sporting Club Member-Prospect Invitation, The Greenbrier Sporting Club Magazine and Snake River Sporting Clubs Snow Spectacular Invitation.
Christine Greenleaf, Katie Coisson and Emily Weidle, the sales team at The Courtyard by Marriott Downtown, were honored at the 2006 Brand Conference in San Diego as Courtyard by Marriott Sales Team of the Year for 2005. The sales team was recognized for creative out-of-the box thinking, direct sales dedication and outstanding teamwork.
Three Trident Technical College students were named to the Phi Theta Kappa South Carolina All-State Academic Team: Clark Burnside of Summerville, Audrey Dodd of Mount Pleasant and Hope Steen of Goose Creek. The students were selected on the basis of academic performance, leadership accomplishments and service to their colleges and local communities. TTCs PTK chapter, members and advisors also received 10 awards at the PTK Carolinas Regional Convention, including the Five-Star Chapter Award for program excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship; the Bruce Rallis Service Award; the Chapter Yearbook Award; and the Beta Tau Continued Excellence Award. Members received the following awards: Distinguished Chapter President, Burnside; Distinguished Chapter Officer, Steen; and Distinguished Chapter Member, Tomoko Goddard of Charleston. PTK advisors Jane Benton of James Island, David Howell of Goose Creek and Rameca Leary of West Ashley received Horizon Awards for Advisors.
