The Olde North Charleston Merchants Association re-elected Richard Campbell of Park Circle Coffee & Cream as secretary and Trey Strock of Strock Enterprises Inc. as president/treasurer. The association elected Jan Turner of Prudential Carolina Real Estate as vice president and Sue Thigpen as membership director.

Will Russell of Jarrard, Nowell & Russell LLC has been appointed chair of the captive insurance section of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. He will lead the captive insurance task force, a group of four professionals who will work closely with the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association.

Jim Bailey with RE/MAX Professional Realty was elected president of the North Area Top Producers’ Club. This organization recognizes real estate agents in the Summerville, Goose Creek and North Charleston markets who have attained a high degree of professional success. To qualify, members must close a minimum of 40 transactions or earn a minimum of $90,000 in commissions in a calendar year.

Shealee M. Harmon has been appointed to the board of directors for Cullum Mechanical Construction Inc. Harmon is the controller and serves as the corporate secretary for the subsidiaries for Cullum Constructors and Cullum Services Inc. Harmon has been with Cullum since 1997 and is a CPA.
