Keep South Carolina Beautiful, the state Keep America Beautiful affiliate, received a Silver State Recognition Award and a Presidents Circle Award for Excellence from KAB. Nine South Carolina KAB affiliates were also recognized with the Presidents Circle Awards: Keep the Midlands Beautiful, KAB of Anderson County, Keep Charleston Beautiful, Keep Dorchester County Beautiful, Keep Fairfield Beautiful, Keep Florence Beautiful, Keep Oconee Beautiful and Keep Williamsburg Beautiful. The Presidents Circle Awards recognizes affiliates in good standing with KAB.

Trio Solutions Inc., a local marketing, planning and Web services company that specializes in serving health care and nonprofit organizations, has been hired by Water Missions International to plan its annual Water for Life Fundraiser and Silent Auction. The event will be held April 8 at the South Carolina Aquarium.

The certification, awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute, signifies that Dresel possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.
Jani-King, a commercial cleaning franchise company, secured the seventh spot for the second consecutive year among all franchise companies in Entrepreneur magazines Franchise 500 issue. Jani-King was also ranked as the No. 1 commercial cleaning franchise company for the 19th time in 20 years. Jani-King also secured the No. 1 spot for the third consecutive year for home-based franchise companies. In addition, Jani-King was ranked the third low-cost franchise and seventh fastest growing franchise.
