Ted Floore has joined Coast Architects Inc. as architect and project manager. Floore has more than 30 years of professional experience in renovation and new construction projects including commercial, education, government and private sector projects.

Alice Nixon Burress is the director of the architectural division for Citadel Enterprises Inc. in Mount Pleasant. Burress previously owned an architectural practice focused on residential, resort, renovations and interior planning and detailing.

WPC Engineering promoted Matthew L. Silveston as manager for its Mount Pleasant branch. Silveston, who previously served as the business development manager, has worked for WPC for more than nine years.

General Engineering & Environmental LLC hired Mason Lindsey as a professional land surveyor and Cheryl Lineberger as a senior CAD technician. Lindsey, who has 35 years of surveying experience, previously owned and operated his own land-surveying company and specializes in subdivisions and large-boundary surveys. Lineberger has 10 years of engineering experience and previously worked as a drafting technician and engineering technician for the city of Gastonia, N.C.

ARCADIS hired Robert Curran Jr. as survey crew chief. Curran has more than 20 years experience in land and marine surveying, including GIS and AutoCAD proficiency.

Seamon Whiteside & Associates Inc. hired Cameron Clements, Ben Liebetrau and Haley Jameson. Clements will be working in the Mount Pleasant office during the summer and fall semesters as a six-month landscape architecture intern. Liebetrau earned his landscape architecture degree from Clemson University in May 2006. Jameson, who previously worked with HadenStanziale in Wilmington, N.C., joins the landscape architecture department.

Cullum Constructors Inc. promoted Dale J. Prosser to vice president and Jim W. Wolf to project manager. Prosser has served as project group manager for 10 years and Wolf has served as an assistant project manager for five years.

Alan Cambeira joined the The Citadel’s modern languages faculty as visiting assistant professor of Spanish. Cambeira previously taught at numerous institutions including Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and North Carolina Central University.

Matt Allen joined First Citizens Bank’s Moncks Corner office as retail sales manager. Allen previously worked for Zeus Inc.

Eryn Parrish has joined the audit department of Pratt-Thomas, Gumb & Co. PA. Parrish previously worked for DJ Powers Co. Inc., a freight transportation company in Charleston.

Harbor National Bank hired Eric Main as vice president and commercial loan officer for the bank’s downtown location. Main, who has 13 years of banking experience, served as vice president and private client advisor with SunTrust Bank in St. Simons Island, Ga., and was a branch manager and loan officer for NBSC in Charleston.

Gamble Givens and Moody promoted Sarah Windham and Amy Van Pinxten to managers. Windham has been with the firm for seven years and Pinxten has been with the firm for four years.

First National Bank promoted Bob Whittemore to senior vice president and regional executive officer. Whitmore has more than 20 years experience in the financial industry.

Old Village Post House hired Tim Armstrong as chef. Armstrong, who has more than 18 years experience in restaurant and food industry operations, previously worked as executive chef at Barcelona Wine Bar in Fairfield, Conn.

BlueCross BlueShield South Carolina named Mike McGinty as director of key accounts marketing. McGinty will assume statewide responsibilities for sales and account management for large employers.

Nic Gabriel and Sara Hicks joined the American Red Cross, Carolina Lowcountry Chapter. Gabriel, who was previously a receptionist and administrator for Per-Se Technologies, is the chapter’s preparedness specialist. Hicks, who previously interned at the Metro Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross in disaster services, is a response associate.

California Closets hired Jean M. Dunn, Karen Milonas and Angela Fleming. Dunn, previously a sales trainer for Bank of New York, joined the sales and design team. Milonas, who previously was a wedding and special events consultant, will assist in the office as the customer liaison.
