Brian K. Sullivan, the owner of Lifeworks LLC, was elected president of the South Carolina Psychological Association.

Mark Condon, executive director of the South Carolina World Trade Center, has been nominated to the World Trade Centers Association board of directors during a meeting in Paris.

Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow PA announced that founding partner Mark S. Barrow has been named chairman of the transportation committee of USLAW.

Sergio Fedelini and Leonard Volf have joined the South Carolina World Trade Center board of directors. Fedelini is vice president of the Mediterranean Shipping Co. and serves as an Honorary Consul of Italy for South Carolina. Volf is vice president of business development and community relations for Work Volf Consultants LLC.

Harry L. Mashburn was elected as the Associated General Contractors of America’s 2006 president.

Robert D. Robbins, with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, will serve on the board of directors of Children In Crisis Inc., a nonprofit organization in Summerville dedicated to assisting child victims of abuse and neglect.

The South Carolina General Assembly has elected three new members to the College of Charleston Board of Trustees: John Wood Jr., Frank Gadsden and John Busch.

Jennifer M. Newbold of Gamble Givens & Moody LLC has been elected to the board of directors for People Against Rape. PAR was established in 1974 to assist adult victims of sexual assault in Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties.

Steve Peck, president of Community Management Group, was elected to the board of directors of the South Carolina chapter of the Community Associations Institute. CAI is dedicated to fostering vibrant, competent, harmonious community associations by providing education and resources to homeowners and association professionals.
