ADDY AWARDS GET A MAKEOVER:

Advertising Federation of Charleston refocused its annual ADDY awards to a multimedia showcase at the Old City Jail. The local ADDY awards recognize exceptional advertising created in the Charleston metropolitan area and are the first of a three-tiered national competition. GLASSPRO HONORED FOR BEAUTIFICATION EFFORTS:

Mount Pleasant Mayor Harry Hallman (third from left) presents the 2005 Mount Pleasant Civic Pride Award to Paul Heinauer, president of Glasspro Inc. (second from left). The award was given in recognition of Glassspro’s contributions and efforts toward the beautification of Mount Pleasant. HOLLINGS HONORED WITH COMMUNICATOR AWARD:

Former U.S. Sen. Ernest Hollings spoke during part of the College of Charleston’s Distinguished Communicators Series.
