The Education Foundation announced its board of directors and executive committee for the 2005-2006 fiscal year, which began on July 1. Members of the Executive Committee also serve on the Board of Directors. The Coastal Carolina Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors has elected the following officers for their 2005-2006 year: Kristina G. L. Wall, Charleston Commissioners of Public Works, secretary; and Bruce D. Havens, Santee Cooper Power, treasurer.

Glenn Hoy, president and chief operating officer of Buck Lumber & Building Supply, was appointed Chairman of the Board of the Southern Building Materials Association at the annual meeting in Virginia Beach, Va., on Aug 6. SBMA has 255 independent dealer members and 158 associate members in S.C., N.C., Va., and Tenn.
