Ross Dress for Less opens third local store
Ross Dress for Less, a national off-price retailer, opened last month in West Ashley Shoppes. The store will include an expansive selection of bargains on housewares, gifts and apparel. Other stores are located in Summerville and North Charleston, both of which opened in the last year.
The 30,000-square-foot store in West Ashley is located at 946 Orleans Rd. in Charleston. The store is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Day Spa opens in North Charleston
SoCa Day Spa has opened in North Charleston at 1043 East Montague Ave., part of the Olde North Charleston Village. An abbreviation of South Carolina, SoCa combines the natural elements of water and sand to give the spa a soothing ambiance.
Spa director and proprietor Casy Wyndham, a North Charleston native and former country club and restaurant operator, began renovating the 1,900-square-foot space in March. A grand opening is being planned later this month. SoCas services include customized skin care treatments, massage therapy, makeup, Vichy and Swiss showers, hydrotherapy treatments and spa waxing services. SoCa is a co-ed facility with separate showers, lockers and dressing rooms.
SoCa is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Specialty coffee shop opens in West Ashley
Drogo Coffee, a locally owned specialty coffee house has opened in West Ashley at 2048 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. The store will also soon be wi-fi enabled with high-speed Internet access.
