Clemson University’s Spiro Sessions, formerly known as Go Spiro, will be offered at the Lowcountry Graduate Center in North Charleston and at Clemson’s MBA campus in Greenville starting in March, according to a news release.
Eight evening sessions will be held for leaders of small to midsize businesses to learn best practices and contemporary business principles. George Morrison from McNair Law Firm will facilitate the sessions, which will include business leaders and community professionals as panelists, the news release said.
“Participants in this program form a core network of entrepreneurs who want to make a high impact in our local business community,” Nan Johnston, director of the Clemson University Center for Corporate Learning, said in the news release. “We are thrilled to be able to expand this opportunity into the Lowcountry, enabling anyone throughout our state to access either location within a two-hour drive.”
Registration is $599, and class size is limited to 25. Participants who complete the eight weekly sessions, scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays starting March 15, will receive a certificate of completion from Clemson’s Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Registration is available online.
