17 North restaurant concept expanding across Southeast; O-Ku opens next week

DSC_0171 The fast success of 17 North Roadside Kitchen in Mount Pleasant has attracted the interest of private investors who want to open similar restaurants in five Southeastern cities, co-owner Steve Palmer said. He and Chef Brett McKee, who own Oak Steakhouse in downtown Charleston, opened 17 North in November.
