The local brand, which is carried in more than 2,000 boutiques and resorts around the world, recently opened a store at 644F Long Point Road in the Belle Hall Shopping Center.

“Charleston is the perfect location to launch the first Escapada Living signature store,” Natalia Castillo, founder and creative director of Escapa, said in a statement. “This is where the brand first got its start, and the community has embraced our clothing in such an inspiring way.”

The store offers clothing and accessories from Escapada Living’s latest collection as well as from other brands such as Julie Brown, Tara Michelle, NYDJ, Before and Again, Level 99 and Lolo Bags, according to a news release.

The company also plans to open retail locations in Palm Beach and Naples, Fla., the release said.

“Being able to interact with our customers in the store on a daily basis also ensures our pieces relate to the Escapada woman,” Castillo said. “We’re thrilled to get to know our Charleston customers on an even more personal level and provide them with fun, vibrant clothing that reflects their lifestyle.”
