Opal Restaurant & Bar is hosting A Perfectly Paired Dinner as part of the BB&T Charleston Wine & Food Festival. The event is 7 p.m., Friday, at 1960 Riviera Drive in Mount Pleasant. The event features chef Patrick Owens of Langdon's Restaurant and Opal Restaurant & Bar; guest chef Chris Hall of Local Three, Muss & Turner's and Common Quarter; pastry chef Lauren Mitterer of WildFlour Pastry; and winemaker Joe Davis of Arcadian. Tickets are $175 each.
