A new boutique hotel is set to open next month in Kiawah Island, according to a news release.

Andell Inn, built on land once owned by the Andell family and located in Freshfields Village, will open in March as the first Local Hotel Adventures LLC property, according to the management company. The hotel will be 72,000 square feet and include more than 1,000 square feet of meeting space.

A study conducted by Bleakly Advisory Group estimates construction of Andell Inn represents a $22.8 million economic benefit to Charleston, according to the company. The hotel, which will provide 39 regional jobs, expects annual spending for the county to increase $6.8 million.

The three-story, 100-room inn will feature studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and workspaces. It will also include a saltwater pool, wraparound porches, a business center and fitness club, the company said. Room rates will be about $200 to $750 per night and will vary depending on the season, according to a spokeswoman for the inn.

The inn, located at 300 Farm Lake View Road, is a part of the Marriott International network and will accept Marriott Rewards points.

“Andell Inn blends Marriott’s Rewards program and the Residence Inn guest room with redesigned social spaces and custom interior design,” said Local Hotel Adventures CEO Donald Semmler in a statement. “Perfect for guests who seek convenience, comfort and style.”
