Charleston-based Sparc added video functionality to its app that prepares job seekers for interviews.

The Prepado app now has a video component that enables users to film themselves answering potential interview questions and then assess their responses.

Prepado also enables users to enter a job title, and then it populates thousands of interview questions that have been submitted and reviewed by hiring managers and interviewers, according to a news release.

Prepado users can also share and request feedback from mentors or peers. Users can invite reviewers via email to review their written or video responses.

“Prepado can be used to prepare for any job, from a communications intern to a director of sales or even something very technical like a JavaScript developer. Getting started is easy; Prepado instantly pulls the best questions for your position and continues to add new questions, as practice interviews are created,” product owner Jake Benardot said in a statement.

Prepado’s next platform is for iPhones and iPads running iOS 7. The app syncs with existing Prepado accounts.

Sparc is a software product development company for the government, commercial, energy management, human resources, big data analytics and mobile markets.
