The Rehab Division of Southeastern Health Plus Inc., based in Myrtle Beach, has been acquired by privately held Numotion, a wheelchair company headquartered in Hazelwood, Mo.

Cost of the acquisition was not disclosed.

"The sale of our Rehab Division allows us to focus almost exclusively on our Orthotics & Prosthetics business, which we plan to expand into other states," said Ralph Lombardo, CEO of Southeastern Health Plus.

Southeastern Health Plus, which also has locations in Charleston and Orangeburg, is a provider of orthotics and prosthetics, rehab and durable medical equipment.

The acquisition “allows Numotion to expand its complex mobility business throughout the state and provides greater access to rehab equipment to residents needing these products and services," said Neill Rowland, regional vice president of Numotion.

Numotion is formerly known as United Seating & Mobility and ATG Rehab.
