Manny’s Neighborhood Grille, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of operation, has introduced a new catering option, a build-your-own-gyro bar, consisting of warm pita bread, shaved gyro meat or grilled Greek chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions and homemade tzatziki sauce. The gyro bar offerings also include the traditional Greek pastry dessert baklava. Manny’s build-your-own-gyro bar can feed gatherings of up to 200 people for all occasions. Chefs Kevin Getz and Jeremiah Schenzel will take part in a “bring your own blanket” dinner from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Ambrose Family Farms on Wadmalaw Island. The chefs will create an open-fire-cooked meal under the old oak grove. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the event.
