Leasing will begin in late 2014, with an estimated project completion of mid-2015.
The four-story apartment building, located at the intersection of Seven Farms Drive and River Landing, will feature two street-level retail spaces overlooking Simmons Park.
Simmons Park is dedicated to blacksmith Phillip Simmons, who was born on Daniel Island in 1912 and is known nationally for his iron fence designs. The apartments will include wrought iron gates leading to a courtyard.
The apartments will be within walking distance of restaurants and retail stores, including the Publix grocery store. Amenities include a fire pit, outdoor kitchens, a saltwater pool, a fitness center, a yoga studio and covered parking, among others.
“Pacolet Milliken was attracted to Daniel Island and this property specifically due to its ideal location as well as the sense of community on the island,” Pacolet Milliken President Richard Webel said in a news release.
