Ishpi Information Technologies Inc. was awarded a three-year, $14.1 million contract to support the Wireless Systems Program Division of U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Chantilly, Va.
Ishpi will provide program and project management services, in addition to wireless systems acquisitions and logistics support. The Wireless Systems Program Division is a new customer for Ishpi.
“The WSPD has taken on a leadership role in the department for next-generation wireless interoperability for law enforcement and first responders,” Ishpi Vice President Earl Bowers said in a news release. “We look forward to playing a pivotal role in this challenging, essential task.”
Ishpi provides information, engineering and technical services to the military, intelligence community, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies, according to its website. It has offices in Charleston, San Antonio, Tidewater, Va., and near Washington, D.C.
