A Charleston engineering and technology consulting company has appointed a new top executive.
Bob Fei will immediately begin as president and CEO for Life Cycle Engineering, the company said in a news release.
Fei also will serve as a member of the board of directors, the company said. Life Cycle Engineering said Fei’s appointment is the final step in a five-year leadership transition plan that began in 2008.
“My focus will be on leveraging and encouraging our talented and dedicated employees to innovate and continuously improve current offerings to better serve our customers,” Fei said in a news release.
Life Cycle co-founder and former CEO, Jim Fei, is the father of Bob Fei. Jim Fei will continue as chairman of the board.
“It’s with great pleasure and pride that I announce the transition of leadership to an individual that is trusted, respected and admired here at LCE,” said Jim Fei. “We’ve built a company based on doing ‘the right thing, the right way’— always caring for employees, our community and our clients. I’m confident that under Bob’s continued leadership, the LCE way of doing business will thrive.”
Bob Fei joined Life Cycle Engineering in 2002, serving as managing principal and director of business processes before being appointed to president and as a board member in 2009. He previously served as a consultant and business analyst at Ernst & Young, Andersen Consulting, which later became Accenture, and Niku Corp.
Life Cycle Engineering works with government and commercial operations. The company offers engineering expertise and management consulting services, including reliability and change management consulting, applied technology solutions, financial services and educational products.
