On the Menu for Feb. 19, 2013

Closed for Business, 453 King St. in Charleston, will host a five-course dinner at 7 p.m. March 2 featuring a Southern twist on pub food that will complement beers from Allagash Brewing Co. of Maine. Naomi Neville of Allagash will present each of the brews and chef Will Fincher will guide guests through each of the five-course meal pairings. Tickets are $125. The event is part of the Charleston Wine & Food Festival.


The Royal American, 970 Morrison Drive in Charleston, will no longer be part of Rev. A controlling interest in the Royal American has been sold to the existing operating partners, according to a news release. Guest will no longer be able to use Revolutionary Rewards loyalty cards at the restaurant. Rev also owns Poe’s Tavern, Taco Boy, Closed for Business and Monza.
