The College of Charleston’s School of Business is offering a two-day training course next month to help certify individuals in supply chain management and global business.

The Certified Global Business Professional training course will be held March 15-16 in the Beatty Center on the College of Charleston campus. The course serves as a guide for the Certified Global Business Professional exam, the School of Business said in a news release.

The exam provides credentials for trade professionals, confirming to organizations and employers that individuals are capable of conducting global business at a professional level, according to the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators.

The training course will examine the four knowledge areas tested in the national exam, including: global business management, global marketing, global supply chain management and international trade finance.

The classes will be taught by College of Charleston faculty members certified by NASBITE. The two-day course costs $395 per attendee and half-day sessions are available for $125 each, the School of Business said. Discounts are available for College of Charleston alumni and Global Business Resource Center partners for $295 for both days and $75 for half-day sessions.
