U-Haul Co. of Coastal South Carolina expanded its Lowcountry network with its purchase of Stars and Stripes Self Storage, U-Haul announced Wednesday.

The storage facility is on Dorchester Road and has seven single-story, self-storage buildings with 397 storage rooms.

The facility will have electronically controlled access, personal access codes, no deposit or administration fees and a credit card payment plan. U-Haul will also offer insurance.

“We are proud to be expanding our moving and storage services in North Charleston and look forward to serving customers in the area,” said Steve Redmond, president of U-Haul Co. of Coastal South Carolina.
