Charleston company receives solar energy contract

Hannah Solar Government Services received a $152,000 contract to build a solar energy system at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, according to a news release.

The project will generate energy for the Keller Army Hospital at West Point. A Danbury, Conn., company awarded Hannah the subcontract, and the project will be managed by Morgan Construction.

“This solar energy project shows the continued commitment of the Department of Defense in providing renewable energy for America,” said Dave McNeil, CEO of Hannah Solar Government Services.
