Slightly North of Broad, 192 E. Bay St., will celebrate 19 years of food and hospitality Dec. 5 with a day full of specials. The celebration will kick off as Chef Frank Lee brings back some old favorites for the lunch menu, plus birthday cake for all lunch guests. During dinner service there will be a special four-course meal for $36, in addition to a la carte service.
All day, Slightly North of Broad will be offering Maverick specialty cocktails for $5, Maverick private label glasses of wine for $5, or $20 a bottle. Guests can help pick the winner in the Maverick Spirits Challenge from 5 to 8 p.m. Terressentia, the Charleston distiller that produces Maverick spirits, will be on hand for tastings.

A new Sticky Fingers has opened inside North Charleston’s Northwoods Mall. The opening marks the first express location in the chain’s 20-year history. Sticky Fingers Smokehouse Express will be located beside the Great American Cookie Co. at the mall entrance of the food court. The restaurant will serve most of the traditional Sticky Fingers menu as well as offering a new family-style option.

The Wreckfish is opening this month in the former Market Street Saloon location at 7690 Northwoods Blvd. in North Charleston. The Wreckfish is the newest restaurant in the Charleston Hospitality Group’s family of restaurants.
Starting today, Al Di La in Avondale is launching a happy hour. Drink specials are $4 house liquors, $5 house wines and $5 martinis along with small plates ranging in price from $1 to $10.
