A Charleston engineering firm will support naval ship systems and mechanical and electrical systems under a $23.7 million contract.
Life Cycle Engineering won the contract through the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division Philadelphia, the second multimillion-dollar contract from the center this year for the company.
The Charleston firm provides engineering services and logistics to navies all over the world. Under the contract, Life Cycle will work on surface ship and aircraft carrier logistics, obsolescence and ship acquisition.
“Life Cycle Engineering has supported the Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station for more than 20 years, providing engineering, technical and logistics services,” said Randy Reeves, vice president and regional director of the northeast region of Life Cycle’s Engineering Services Group.
