Charleston to host business communications conference

The International Association of Business Communicators is hosting a professional development conference at the end of the month in Charleston. Presentation topics include leadership, branding, social media and strategic communications.

From Sept. 26-28, business communicators will be in Charleston for the International Association of Business Communicators’ Southern Region Conference.

The conference theme, Real people talk: Making human connections in a high-tech world, will focus on new communication techniques. Presentation topics include leadership, branding, social media and strategic communications.

Registration for the event ends Sept. 17.

The South Carolina chapter of the IABC is hosting the event at the Francis Marion Hotel.

The IABC, which has a network of about 15,000 professionals, helps its members develop and adhere to professional standards of quality and innovation in organizational and business communication.
