Tiffany Norton
Account executive, Viamedia/U.S. Coast Guard Reserves

Norton works closely with clients to create a marketing plan that maximizes their budget and ultimately meets and exceeds their marketing needs through cable advertising sales for Knology and through online marketing. She joined Viamedia in 2001 after serving on active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard where she was the only female member and the only enlisted member of the Law Enforcement - Drug Interdiction Team. Norton continues to serve as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves in Charleston.

How has she made an impact on the community?
Norton is active with the Charleston Jaycees, having served in various roles before being elected president of the organization in 2011. Under her leadership, Charleston grew to the largest chapter in South Carolina and, for the first time in the chapter’s history, was named the No. 1 chapter in South Carolina. She currently is the vice president for the South Carolina Jaycees and is the first Charleston member to hold the title in the state organization. Earlier this year, she was named Volunteer of the Month by Viamedia’s corporate office in Kentucky.

What excites or inspires you now?
To see the success of others that I’ve led and the feeling of satisfaction when seeing that, through hard work and an open heart, our efforts continue to make a positive impact on the world around us.

What are your plans or goals for the future?
To charter a new Jaycees Chapter in Summerville by year’s end, to obtain my masters degree, run a nonprofit and be a county council member before the age of 50.
