Blue Planet Green Events, in partnership with MIX Premier Bartending, has launched an eco-initiative to further support Pet Helpers. The two organizations will collect aluminum cans at events and recycle them for cash that will be used to purchase food for Lowcountry animals in need.
A volunteer with Pet Helpers has already raised enough money to purchase 1,500 cans of pet food this year by turning cans into cash. BPGE and MIX hope to at least double this effort by the end of the year as well as inspire others within the business community to join this initiative.
