About 1,000 visitors enjoyed a July 4 fireworks show from the deck of the Yorktown overlooking Charleston Harbor yesterday evening. The event was a sellout for Patriots Point, which also allowed visitors to watch the show from the shore.

The event was one of several Independence Day fireworks displays and celebrations held throughout the Lowcountry.
