Jennifer Davis, owner of Domicile Real Estate Brokerage, announced the sale of a 7,000-square-foot property at 70 Queen St. in Charleston to Hume Killian. Killian was represented by Carolina One.
William Phillips of Palmetto Commercial Properties represented Critical Solutions International in leasing 2,600 square feet of office space at 174 East Bay St., Suite 300 A-B, Charleston, from Francis J. Cornley. Mark Tezza, of Kennerty, Ratner and Tezza, represented the landlord.
Mike Rose of Coldwell Banker Commercial Atlantic International Inc. represented the seller, Sofas Plus, in the sale of 19,440 square feet of retail space at 1714 N. Main St. in Summerville for $775,000 to Moneyline Properties.
Milton Thomas, CCIM, SIOR, of Lee & Associates, represented the landlord, Luco Realty LLC, in the leasing of a 6,100-square-foot retail building located at 7001 Rivers Ave. in Charleston. The property was leased to RNR/Rent N’ Roll.
The University of South Carolina will open a welcome center in downtown Charleston. USC recently purchased the remaining three years of the lease for the retail space at 258 King St., Charleston. The site was the former flagship location for the Greek jewelry store, Oxette. Jennifer Davis, owner of Domicile Real Estate Brokerage, negotiated the lease buy-out and a three-year commitment from USC with the building owner Patterson Smith Co. The store will be a welcoming and information center to create a liaison for prospective students, current students, alumni and friends of the university. The center should be open by late August.
David Grubbs, managing principal of NAI Avant’s Charleston office, represented the tenant, Charleston GI Specialist, in the lease of about 2,200 square feet of medical office space at 2060 Charlie Hall Blvd. in Charleston. The landlord was represented by Bart Langlois of Landmark Properties.
Chris Koepenick, CCIM, of Lee & Associates, represented the landlord, Gus H. Bell LLC, in the lease of 2,322 square feet of space located at 474 Wando Park Blvd. in Mount Pleasant. Kelley Glenn of Sunbelt Ventures LLC represented the tenant, Sunbelt Ventures LLC.
Thomas M. Boulware VI, CCIM, and Dexter C. Rumsey IV, both with NAI Avant’s Charleston brokerage team, represented the landlord in an 18,000-square-foot office lease at 4390 Belle Oak Drive, Charleston. Select Health of South Carolina renewed and expanded its presence at Ashley Overlook.
Eddie Hughes with the Beach Co. — Beach Commercial represented the buyer, Advintage Distributing, in the purchase of a 31,956-square-foot industrial warehouse located at 9570 William Aiken Drive in North Charleston from the seller, WestCap Funding Inc., which was represented by Will Martin with Holcombe Fair and Lane.
Richard Morse, CCIM, of Palmetto Commercial Properties Inc., represented Farmers & Merchants Bank of South Carolina in the lease renewal of a 728-square-foot office space at 3751 S. Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner to Edward D. Jones.
Environmental Resources Management Inc. has leased 4,024 square feet at Bridgeport Center II located at 200 Wingo Way in Mount Pleasant. Frank Norvell, SIOR, of Norvell Real Estate Group LLC, represented the landlord, Ziff Properties Inc., and Drayton Calmes of Norvell Real Estate Group LLC and Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant. Bridgeport Center I and II, consisting of 60,000 square feet of Class “A” office space, are now 100% occupied.
