Harbor Breeze Restaurant, 176 Patriots Point Blvd., Mount Pleasant, opened this week offering local food and a Lowcountry flair. Chef Matt Riley previously was with Hank’s Seafood and Mercato. General manager Chuck Isenberg previously was with Road Side Kitchens and Jim ‘n Nick’s. Poogan’s Porch executive chef Daniel Doyle has been invited to cook at the James Beard House on June 14. Doyle will create a six-course “Lowcountry Elegance” menu. He will collaborate with Brad Ball, managing partner and sommelier of Poogan’s Porch, for wine pairings with each dish.
