The second annual Wonderfest sponsored by Wonder Works is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2 at the Wonder Works West Ashley location in the St. Andrews Shopping Center, 975 Savannah Highway. This free family summer kick-off festival will feature summer toys in Wonder Works’ toy-testing area, free games and activities, live music, entertainment, prizes, child and local entrepreneurs, free food and more. Every child who attends also will receive a free toy from Wonder Works. This year, Wonderfest is supporting four local charities that were created by children to benefit children: Hugs for Harper, Happy Wheels, Abby’s Friends and Keys for Hope. Twenty local designers will be featured from 6-8 p.m. May 23 at Seeking Indigo wellness center, 445 King St. in Charleston. There will be music, fashion, food and wellness. There is no admission fee.
Living Vintage at Novel will be Friday and Saturday at Novel, 341 King St., Suite B, Charleston. Interior designer Angie Hranowsky and vintage clothing purveyor Lauren Lail created the event, a unique shopping experience to showcase the best of vintage design in Charleston.
