The University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business has made several leadership changes to increase its focus on international business education and research.

The school has created the position of senior associate dean for international programs and partnerships.

Kendall Roth, who has served as chairman of the school's Sonoco International Business Department, has been named to the new dean post and will coordinate all international programs for the school. Roth is the J. Willis Cantey Chair for International Business and Economics and a Fellow in the Academy of International Business.

Replacing Roth as chairman of the international business department will be Martin S. Roth, a professor of international business who has earned numerous international marketing research and teaching awards.

William R. "Randy" Folks Jr., an honorary Fellow of the Academy of International Business and former international educator of the year, will continue to serve as executive director of the school's Center for International Business Education and Research and will also guide the development of new international student cohort, exchange and double-degree programs.

"These leadership changes will sharpen our international focus and further bolster our research and teaching in international business," said Moore School Dean Hildy Teegen.
