Hawthorne Services Inc. won a $12.5 million defense contract for fuel services at contractor-operator facilities, according to a news release from the Department of Defense.
The Charleston-based business will provide the services for operation, maintenance, security and safety of government aviation fuel.
The work will be done for the Army and will be finished by April 2031.
The Defense Logistics Agency in Virginia is the contracting agency.
