I have been working with nonprofits since I graduated college in 2004. I have a passion for working with people in need around the world and I see efficient and effective nonprofit organizations as the best way to accomplish that. Personal mission statement: Invest in people. Who has inspired you or impacted your life and why?
Ed O’Bryan and I have worked together to develop Palmetto Medical Initiative over the past 2 ½ years. Ed’s passion for those in need, coupled with his enthusiasm for the organization, have been a great encouragement to me along the way. Though we have very different strengths and personalities, Ed has always exhibited a great deal of trust in my leadership, which has allowed me to lead with confidence. Favorite hour of the day and why:
The last hour of sunlight is my personal favorite. I love to watch as things begin to slow down and you realize that anything pressing will simply have to wait until tomorrow. That last hour is a wonderful time to reflect and wind down and I find that is the case regardless of where I am in the world. Return to list |
