• Donates children’s tutus and capes to multiple charitable organizations, including Low Country Orphan Relief, Charleston Ballet’s “Princess for a Day,” March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Leukemia Association, Drayton Hall Elementary School, Charleston Collegiate School and Orange Grove Elementary
School. Also donates to individual children who suffer from critical illnesses.
What made you select your chosen profession?
My children were the main reason I started this company. I needed a career that would allow me a more flexible work schedule to be able to care for my children. I also had seen firsthand how much my products delighted my own children and knew that they would delight other children as well.
What is your professional goal? I want my line to be carried by retail stores in every state and in every major foreign market.
What is your personal mission statement? To provide a fairly priced, high-quality product that inspires creative, imaginative play among children. I’ve also made it part of my mission to give back to the community in the form of merchandise or cash donations. Previous Next |
