Roper’s CEO becomes chairman of S.C. Hospital Association

David Dunlap David Dunlap, president and CEO of Roper St. Francis Healthcare, became chairman of the board for the S.C. Hospital Association.

The S.C. Hospital Association is a statewide, private, not-for-profit organization made up of 100 hospitals and 900 individual members.

Dunlap replaces outgoing board chairman Ingo Angermeier, president and CEO of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Dunlap took over the position at the annual meeting in February.

Dunlap has been president and CEO of Roper since June 2003 and received the President’s Award from Professional Research Consultants in 2008. Prior to joining Roper, Dunlap was president and CEO of Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans. He has also worked as CEO of University Health Partners in Oklahoma City.
