Two favorite local chefs will combine their culinary talent and friendship during a five-course wine dinner at Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) on Jan. 13.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m., followed by a five-course dinner with wine pairings from The Crossings Estate and Geyser Peak Winery.
Long-time friends Frank Lee (executive chef of SNOB) and guest chef Bob Waggoner (of U Cook With Chef Bob), will prepare some of their favorite dishes.
Matt Mitchell of The Crossings and Mick Schroeter of Geyser Park will be on site to provide guests with tasting notes for the pairings. The Crossings is located in New Zealand and is 100% sustainable. Geyser Peak, one of California’s oldest wineries, is situated in Sonoma’s Alexander Valley.
The menu for the evening will include the chefs’ favorites, like creek shrimp ravioli with fennel mousseline and sundried tomato caper lime butter and beef tenderloin with fresh winter truffles, wild mushroom in pastry and Cabernet sauce.
The cost is $68 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and seating is limited. Call 843-723-3424 for reservations.
