Stone named Realtor of the Year

Sandy Stone Alexander “Sandy” Stone is an owner of Island Realty Inc. and has been in the real estate business for more than 25 years. He currently oversees and manages more than 500 vacation rental homes and 250 year-round rental homes.

Alexander “Sandy” Stone was named 2009 Realtor of the Year by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.

Sandy Stone Stone is an owner of Island Realty Inc. and has been in the real estate business for more than 25 years. He currently oversees and manages more than 500 vacation rental homes and 250 year-round rental homes.

He has served on the Resort and Second Home Committee of the National Association of Realtors for the past five years and as a director on the S.C. Association of Realtors board.

In 2006, Stone was the president of the Charleston Realtors association board of directors, and in 2002 he was president of the Charleston Trident Multiple Listing Service.

In addition, Stone was elected to the Isle of Palms City Council in November.
