Orangeburg-based Zeus Inc. has recently received AS9100 certification, signaling its increasing presence in the aerospace industry.
The certification, developed by the Society for Automotive Engineers, sets forth a standard of quality and management requirements.
“The AS9100 certification allows current and future partners to know we are knowledgeable of industry-quality requirements and that we are committed to meeting or exceeding these benchmarks,” said Rob Hall, vice president of engineered extrusions.
Zeus manufactures polymer tubing for use in industries like medical, automotive, fluid handling and aerospace.
Currently, it has aerospace products like drawn fiber, insulated wire and wire harness products. It is also working with suppliers on designing end products.
