Citing the success of a trip it offered in March, the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce is offering a second cultural immersion trip to China next spring.
The second trip, from March 6-14, is open to anyone interested in visiting China and seeing the business climate and culture firsthand.
The chamber’s previous China trip took 118 people, including a mix of businesspeople, retirees and others interested in seeing the economic climate in China.
The chamber is partnering with Citslinc International, a California-based company that organizes chamber delegations to China. According to the chamber’s Web site, Citslinc takes more than 60,000 people from the United States to China each year to learn about the country’s history and culture.
During the nine-day trip, participants will tour the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square and other historic sites as well as visit an economic development zone.
