Celadon Home Furnishings & Accessories is celebrating its 15th anniversary with special promotions and events throughout October.

The events include:

• Sunday: Animal adoption day with the Charleston Animal Society. Cats and dogs in need of homes will be available for adoption from noon to 4 p.m. at the store, 1015 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., Mount Pleasant.
• Oct. 17: A birthday party with refreshments at the store in Mount Pleasant.
• Oct. 24: Second annual Celadon’s Next Top Dog contest.

Customers who would like to enter the Next Top Dog contest can bring their dogs to the store in Mount Pleasant, where a professional photographer will shoot photos of the dogs on a Celadon sofa. The winning dog will be featured on the store’s spring upholstery mailer, which is sent to 14,000 people.

Throughout October, customers will receive 20% off all upholstery, and regularly priced items in the store will be marked down by 15% to 50%.
