Blackbaud Inc., the Daniel Island-based software development company, is offering 10 free registrations for its 10th annual Conference for Nonprofits, scheduled for Nov. 15-18 in Charleston.
The conference offers networking and training opportunities to nonprofit professionals. Its 130 sessions will cover topics such as integrated fundraising strategy, financial management, donor prospecting, marketing and Blackbaud’s technology solutions.
To help nonprofit professionals attend the event, Blackbaud will award five free registrations through its scholarship fund. Those interested can apply online by Aug. 14 by sharing how they would benefit from attending the conference. Winners will be announced Aug. 21.
Another five free registrations are available through the Get Social contest. The contest takes place Aug. 11-13 and uses social media.
Three Get Social passes will be placed in Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. Eligible participants can get clues by following Blackbaud on Twitter, by becoming a fan on Facebook and by visiting the company’s Web site.
Once a pass is found, participants must submit the winning code found on the pass. Passes are transferable, so if a participant is not in one of the three selected metro areas, a helper can be enlisted.
Two additional Get Social passes will be given away to eligible nonprofits online. Read the contest rules.
Register for the conference. Early registration rates are available through Aug. 20.
