What made you select your chosen profession?

A love of the outdoors and an interest in design and construction. Over time, I narrowed my professional focus to urban, infill development.

Professional goal: To see the successful implementation of the Navy Yard development plans. Take the lessons learned from the Navy Yard and apply them to the next generation of sustainable developments.

Books on your nightstand: Truman, The World is Flat, The Geography of Bliss, and A Separate Peace.

Favorite restaurant: EVO pizza, North Charleston.
