Flock of flamingos
Have you ever been flocked? You would know by the bright pink plastic flamingos dotting your yard. If you haven't experienced it, the Charleston Junior Woman’s Club is giving you the chance. As part of a fundraiser for Pet Helpers, the club will let you flock a friend (or foe) in the Charleston area. Orders are being taken this month for the flocking season that starts March 1. A $20 donation will get a yard flocked for 48 hours, and, if you're the "flockee," $10 removes the pink birds early. Sign up via e-mail or by calling 843-870-3842.
