Sheila Gordon has joined the American Red Cross, Carolina Lowcountry Chapter, as caseworker in the senior advocacy department. Her duties will include assisting the nurse supervisor with in-home evaluations, monitoring reports and submitting billing for community long-term care. She was formerly a respiratory therapist and certified nursing assistant.

 

RECREATION

 

Chadwick Hartley has joined St. Andrew’s Parks and Playground Tennis Department as tennis pro. He formerly played for Florida Atlantic University.

 

Tammy K. Dempster has joined Summerville Marine Inc. as chief financial officer. She will oversee financial reporting and has over 17 years experience in public accounting.

 

LAW

 

Kevin W. Mims has joined Young, Clement, Rivers and Tisdale LLP as associate. He will practice with the construction law group and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law.

 

REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION

 

Warren and Margaret Ostergard, Megan Pearlman, Burt Carlin and Annalisa Wheeler have joined the Mount Pleasant office of Weichert Realtors Dean-Kelby. The Ostergards were formerly business partners for 24 years and Carlin was formerly an IBM executive. Pearlman graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in communication and Wheeler was a business owner and educator for 20 years.

 

Stephen Reynolds has joined the Mount Pleasant office of AgentOwned Realty. He was formerly a Charleston tour guide for nine years.

 

MANUFACTURING

 

Patricia Schnyder and William Osborn have joined Glasspro Inc. Schnyder joins as customer service representative in North Charleston and formerly held customer service and administrative positions in the hospitality industry. Osborn joins as auto glass technician trainee.

 

BANKING/FINANCE

 

Jay Hart has joined Regions Bank as branch manager and assistant vice president of the West Ashley office. He was formerly with Bank of America for three years.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

Jeff Maley and Joe Grammer have formed Megapix Productions LLC, a full service video production company specializing in local and regional television advertising and marketing. Maley was formerly senior director and Grammer was formerly senior promotions producer at WCSC-TV.

 

Shred First LLC (www.shredfirst.net) has opened a facility in Summerville. It provides lockable security bins and cabinets for confidential documents, discs and computers, which are picked up and destroyed according to the client’s schedule.

 

MEDIA

 

Bob McNeill has joined Citadel Communications Corp. as operations manager for WTMA-AM (NewsTalk 1250), WNKT-FM (Cat Country 107.5), WSUY-FM (Sunny 96.9) and WTMZ-AM (AM 910). He will manage the programming and marketing departments. He was formerly with Infinity Broadcasting in Dallas, Texas.

 

Gray Hall has joined News 2 WCBD-TV as general assignment reporter and anchor of News 2 Weekend. He was formerly bureau chief, general assignment reporter and weekend anchor/producer at WABG-TV 6 in Greenville, Miss.
