Steve Zambriczki has been promoted to banking officer and credit manager at Community FirstBank. He previously served as loan officer at Household Finance Corp.

 

South Carolina Federal has opened new branches at 1000 North Main St. and 1900 McMillan Ave. in Summerville.

 

Mike Montei has joined First Citizens as a relationship manager for the Summerville main branch. Previously, Montei was a territory manager for Car Financial Services.

 

Bradford Mortgage Co. has added seven to its staff. Based in the new Mount Pleasant office, Pam Morgan has joined as vice president and sales manager of the Charleston market. Jeff Doss, Todd Morgan, Jason Rosenthal, Rex Ann Strecker, Justin Whitney and Charles Waddell Jr. have joined as mortgage consultants. All were previously employed at Countrywide Home Loans.

 

Keith Stansell has joined Harbor National Bank as vice-president. Stansell has more than 22 years of banking experience, including service as a mortgage lender, small business banker and as a regional private client group manager.

 

Ameris Bank has hired Dean Collins as vice president and senior lender for its Summerville office. Collins most recently served as vice president/city executive of Tidelands Bank in Summerville.

 

Kathy Cowart has joined South Carolina Bank and Trust as a mortgage originator. Cowart previously worked at SunTrust bank as a mortgage loan officer and at Wachovia Bank as a mortgage originator.

 

South Carolina Federal Credit Union has promoted Leesa Daniels and Stacey Snipe to branch managers. Daniels previously served as assistant branch manager at the Rivers Avenue office while Snipe served as assistant branch manager at the West Ashley operation.

 

Jeff Deitsch has joined the Charleston office of South Carolina Bank and Trust as a mortgage loan originator. Previously, he worked as a loan officer and sales manager for Global Mortgage.

 

Scott Gillette has joined Berenyi Inc. as a survey technician. Previously, Gillette worked for Stantec Consulting Services in Charleston.

 

Lauren Minors has joined SGM Architects Inc. as public relations and marketing coordinator. Minors has one year of public relations experience.

 

Jack Walker and Derek Anderson have been hired by GEL Engineering LLC in the firm’s Charleston office. Anderson, named senior scientist, is a former project manager for the Army Corps of Engineers with more than 15 years of permitting and project coordination experience. His background includes maintenance dredge permitting, marina construction permitting, environmental impact permitting and sediment evaluations. Anderson, who joined as a field service technician, previously served as pollution investigator and environmental response team leader for the U.S. Coast Guard.

 

Sara B. McGowan joins the Greenville office of Kestrel Horizons LLC as a consultant. A registered engineer intern, McGowan has provided technical support for site assessment and remediation, stormwater management and litigation support.

 

Lindbergh and Associates has hired Keane McLaughlin to manage the company’s Planning and Landcsape Architecture Division. McLaughlin is a registered landscape architect with 17 years of local experience.

 

Davis & Floyd Inc. has announced six new hires. Steve Wall has joined as a senior civil engineer and previously worked for Connor Engineering Inc. in Charleston. Chris Taylor, who also joined as a senior civil engineer, worked for Trico Engineering Consultants Inc. in Charleston. Joseph Schaefer Jr. has been hired as a civil staff engineer and previously worked for Henry T. Welka and Associates in Erie, Pa. Laurie Rhodes has joined as a civil staff engineer and had previously participated in a co-op at RMT Inc. Mike Kendall has been hired as a civil staff engineer and was previously an intern at Thomas & Hutton Engineering Co. Thomas Baumberger II has joined as a civil designer and previously worked for Trico Engineering Consultants Inc. in Charleston.

 

Jonathan Sheppard has joined HLA Inc. Sheppard previously worked for Trico Engineering and has a degree in civil engineering from The Citadel.

 

The Charleston RiverDogs has hired Jamie Ballentine as director of mascot development and Danny Reed as the assistant director of media relations. Ballentine previously served as the marketing director at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Columbia. Reed most recently completed an internship with the Hagerstown Suns of the South Atlantic League.

 

Keven W. Sass has been promoted to office manager and senior licensed sales producer for Lowcountry Insurance Services. Sass is a former Allstate exclusive agent and owner of the Sass Allstate Agency in Columbia.

 

Local marketing firm Decorum has developed a new Web site, www.decorumllc.com, featuring the Digital Dashboard, which allows clients to view their marketing plan at a glance, as well as a portfolio of the company’s projects, a calendar and podcasts.

 

Eight employees of the Verizon Wireless call center have been promoted to supervisors. Promotions were announced for Charlin Alameda, Charles Kearse II, David Kuznik, Chris Myers, Shamika Nelson, Lekecia Spells, Aaron Wagner and Monica Woods.

 

Relax The Back has hired Touchpoint Communications to execute a national public relations campaign to support the company’s aggressive growth plans.

 

The I’On Club hired Minta Pavliscsak as aquatics program manager. Pavliscsak has taught water aerobics and children’s fitness programs.

 

Christine Pazul has been promoted to spa director at Simply Your Spa. Prior to joining, Pazul managed a spa in Hilton Head. Pam Parsons has joined as a nail care specialist with an interest in nail art and Tracy Simmons has joined as a skin care specialist and makeup artist.

 

Sally Williamson has joined Elaine Brabham and Associates Real Estate as office manager. Williamson received her license in 2004 and previously worked at Keller Williams Realty and ReMax Realty.

 

Lisa Berl and Barbara Johnson have joined St. Johns Properties as agents. Berl has worked with the Seabrook Island Club, Great Beach Vacations and CFC of Charleston. Johnson has been working in the local real estate community for 15 years.

 

Chase Bowers has joined Weichert, Realtors-Dean Kelby in Mount Pleasant as a specialist in residential sales. Bowers is a member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors.

 

Michelle Sundquist has joined Beazer Homes as a purchasing professional. Sundquist has three years prior real estate experience.

 

Kevin Smith has been named partner of the Steinberg Law Firm. Smith practices in the areas of workers compensation and civil litigation, and serves on the board of the Trident Literacy Association and on the executive committee with the Charleston Bar Association.

 

WebsterRogers LLP has announced two additions to their Charleston office. Jennifer Gahl works as a staff accountant and Jennifer Lollis is a senior accountant.

 

Commercial paint contractor Peters Paint & Wallcovering has hired E. Boineau & Co. as its marketing and public relations agency.

 

Obviouslee Marketing recently added Seabrook Island restaurant Red Sky to its client list and is providing marketing strategy and public relations.

 

American LaFrance has appointed A. Matthew Karmel as president and CEO. He most recently served as president, Asia-Pacific, MAG Industrial Automation Systems.

 

Palmetto Behavioral Health has announced four promotions. David Shiel has been named clinical services director after prior service as executive director of adult services. Rhonda Faughender has been named clinical manager. She previously worked as adult clinical program director. Gregory Johnson has been named executive director of Palmetto Lowcountry Youth Service. Prior to joining, Johnson served as lead counselor with CiviGenics at the Turbeville Correctional Institution of South Carolina. Jacqueline Powers has assumed the role of clinical director of youth services. Powers was previously employed at the Pederson-Krag Center in Smithtown, N.Y.

 

Charleston School of Law graduate Reagan S. Flemming has joined the school’s Office of Diversity Initiatives as its first fellow, where she will be involved in the development of programming and community outreach.

 

The College of Charleston has announced its faculty promotions.
